Being a fan of the outdoors, I wasn’t about to pass up the opportunity for a morning of fishing on Lake Ontario…plus it was my little brother’s birthday, how could I say no!!

For those of you who are fishermen / women, know that there is a definite thrill in having a large lake trout or salmon on the line. After half an hour of fight and burning forearms, I remember why I got up before the sun rose and made my way to the Whitby Marina.

Based out of the Whitby Marina, it was a short trip for me to spend a few hours on the water for some ‘boys time’.  I’ve had the opportunity to experience Bill’s boat twice and have always had a great time and great success.
